About the "Electricity and Gas Fee Burden Reduction Support Project"
In response to the "Measures to Mitigate the Sharp Decline in Electricity and Gas Prices" (hereinafter referred to as "the Project") implemented by the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, we will implement the following measures for all of our customers.
[Outline of the electricity and gas fee burden reduction support project]
On November 22, 2024, the Cabinet decided on the "Comprehensive Economic Measures for the Safety and Security of the People and Sustainable Growth."
This economic package states that "in order to pave the way for a transition to a growth-oriented economy in a way that leaves no one behind, immediate support measures will be taken for people who are in difficult situations, including those who are unable to work for various reasons amid continuing high prices." One specific measure will be to provide support for people who are in difficult situations due to high prices by providing assistance with electricity and gas bills during the winter period from January to March, when household electricity usage is at its highest.
For all customers, starting from January 2025 (meter reading in February), we will deduct the amount calculated by multiplying the amount of usage by the unit price below.
【unit price】
・Low voltage 2.5 yen/kWh (for use in January 2025), (for use in February 2025))
・Low voltage 1.3 yen/kWh (for use in March 2025)
[Applicable period]
February 2025 meter reading (January usage) to April 2025 meter reading (March usage)
The discounted amount will be shown on the invoice.
