In response to the "Measures to Mitigate the Sharp Decline in Electricity and Gas Prices" (hereinafter referred to as "the Project") implemented by the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, we will implement the following measures for all of our customers.

On May 25, 2026, Prime Minister Takaichi held a press conference regarding "the supplementary budget for fiscal year 2026 in light of the situation in the Middle East."

At this press conference, it was stated that the government would "further strengthen its efforts to ensure that the lives, livelihoods, and economic activities of the people are not disrupted," and that while it is unlikely that prices will rise significantly this month or next, it is anticipated that the increase in fuel import prices will be reflected in electricity rates thereafter. Therefore, support will be provided for electricity and gas rates from July to September, when usage is expected to be higher.
